Site Prep - Earth Day 2026
All 4WD vehicles are required to have the MA OHV Registration IF WE GO WHEELING AFTER THE WORK DAY. Volunteers during the work event, some of which may not be using their OHV vehicles for recreation, will be exempt from the law.
M.E.P. is telling people they can carry their decals in their glove box. Our club prefers them to be attached to the Left and Right side of every vehicle, which is what the law says. This can be on the paint or the glass. Unfortunately, there's little room for non-conformance with this. Please email president@mohawk4x4.org with any questions.

Our Goals for April 11, 2026 -
- Bag up trash for removal on April 25th
- Break down Pallets/Skids into 4x4 ft squares or smaller
- Move materials, at least to an accessible collection point
- Measure, possibly relocate obstacles en route
- Remove obstacles for the April 25th Event
- DCR to provide Chain Saw work to open some access to the site
PLEASE VOLUNTEER!
We really need your help. On April 11, we are making sure we can achieve our April 25th Goals very smoothly. April 25th will be the day of pictures, sharing the success story, etc. On April 11th - we are preparing for 100% success.
If you have a safety shirt from last year, please wear it!
We really need membership support and volunteerism! The Number 1 objective, is proving to the public and the state, that we are an asset, not a problem. Being GREAT Land Stewards helps to achieve this goal.
Will there be wheeling?
It is mud season, although MA doesn't have strict laws about it. We will play it by ear, and if the weather allows it, yes. We will not be able to use the NH Class VI Roads because of mud season.
